The Fischer Institute was established in 1987 and has gained a reputation for being one of the foremost bio-medical research facilities in the UK and Europe.

The Institute employs a number of eminent researchers in the fields of bio-medical science, psychology and neuro-science, covering a broad spectrum of research interests. Funded by the BMC, ESRC, MOD and others, the Fischer Institute plays a vital role at the forefront of medical scientific research in this country.
