October 13th, 2010: Protesters' Case thrown out of Court

The recent case brought against The Fischer Institute by a number of human rights groups has been thrown out of the European Court of Human Rights today. The Judge stated that the prosecution did not have sufficient evidence to support their claims, and praised the Institute for its superb ethical record. Protesters continue to lobby outside the Institute, though the ruling will pave the way for a civil action against those who continue to trespass on Institute Property.

September 17th, 2010: Corinthian Project Saves Lives

The Red Cross has started using our newly developed B566 Vaccinne as part of its health programmes in Malawi, the Congo and Guyana. Since the B566 vaccine passed its final clinical trials last summer, it has been responsible for saving thousands of lives across the developing world.

June 13th, 2010: New Virus Discovered

Important developments have already occured as part of the new Phlegethen research programme. Our bio-medical specialists have already isolated two new virus types for further study.

February 5th, 2010: Institute Director Receives Honours

Our Institute Director, Dr. Bareleigh, has been given a lifetime achievement award at the annual meeting of the British Council of Bio-Medical Research. Praised for his dedication to establishing innovative research projects, and for developing cutting edge research methods in the field of biomedical science, Dr. Bareleigh was honoured at an awards ceremony last week.
